加利福尼亞國際青少年美術大賽（California International Youth Art Competition ，簡稱CIYA)，是由美國加州洛斯里奧斯學院、科斯門斯河學院、科斯門斯河美術館、意大利文化與藝術交流協會聯合主辦的一場國際性藝術賽事，大賽的主題為“科技與自然”（Technology and Nature），旨在通過藝術形式鼓勵全球青少年表達對未來的想象與思考。賽事著眼未來，而聚焦當代議題，如氣候危機、AI革命、文化沖突與技術壟斷，探討人類與自然的和諧重構以及更具包容性的文明模式。

The California International Youth Art Competition (CIYA) is a prestigious international art event co-hosted by the Los Rios Community College District, Cosumnes River College, the Italian Culture and Art Exchange Association, and Shengxinyu Art (China). Themed “Technology and Nature,” CIYA aims to inspire global youth to express their imaginations and reflections on the future through artistic creation, focusing on the interplay between technology and the natural world.

大賽于2025年首次舉辦，收到了來自中國、美國、意大利、新加坡、澳大利亞、加拿大、馬來西亞、泰國、新西蘭等17個國家，共計1239件作品參與比賽。在專業(yè)評審團的評定下，最后選定307件作品，于2025年11月1日-25日在加州科斯門斯河學院的美術館展出，展覽吸引了院校師生及薩克拉門托周邊教育、藝術愛好者的關注。

The competition first launched in 2025 and received 1,239 entries from 17 countries, including China, the United States, Italy, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, and New Zealand. After evaluation by a professional jury, 307 selected works were exhibited from November 1 to 25, 2025, at the Cosumnes River College Art Gallery in California. The exhibition attracted attention from college students and faculty, as well as educators and art enthusiasts throughout the Sacramento area.

Located in Sacramento, Cosumnes River College benefits from its proximity to this epicenter of innovation, fostering a vibrant environment where education, culture, and technology converge. Against this backdrop, CIYA leverages California’s technological prominence to encourage young artists to explore how technology can coexist harmoniously with nature, addressing critical contemporary issues such as the climate crisis, AI revolution, cultural conflicts, and technological monopolies.

Through diverse artistic mediums like painting, sculpture, and digital art, the competition invites youth to envision how technology can serve as a bridge to restore ecosystems, promote sustainability, and foster inclusive civilizations. CIYA provides a global platform for young creatives to showcase their talents while sparking cross-cultural dialogue through exhibitions, encouraging public discourse on technological ethics, environmental stewardship, and cultural diversity. By intertwining art, technology, and nature, CIYA seeks to inspire the next generation to embrace innovation, responsibility, and a global perspective, shaping a future that is sustainable, equitable, and deeply connected to the natural world.

Technology and Nature

科技與自然，看似對立，實則共生共融。人類借助科技探索自然奧秘，而自然的智慧又啟發(fā)科技的創(chuàng)新。這一主題鼓勵青少年思考：

和諧共生：科技如何幫助保護自然（如清潔能源、生態(tài)修復）？人類怎樣用技術減少對環(huán)境的破壞？

靈感之源：自然中的形態(tài)、結構（如仿生學）如何推動科技發(fā)展？例如飛機源于鳥翼，太陽能模仿光合作用。

未來想象：如果科技與自然完美結合，我們的城市、生活會有怎樣的改變？是垂直森林建筑，還是AI守護瀕危物種？

鼓勵青少年兒童們圍繞主題用描繪無限的觀察與創(chuàng)想——可以描繪科技修復自然的場景，或幻想未來人與萬物智能互聯的奇妙世界。

Technology and Nature: seemingly opposing, yet symbiotically intertwined. Humanity explores the mysteries of nature through technology, while the wisdom of nature inspires technological innovation. This theme encourages young people to reflect on:

How can technology help protect nature (e.g., clean energy, ecological restoration)? How can humans use technology to reduce environmental damage?

How do natural forms and structures (e.g., biomimicry) drive technological advancements? For instance, airplanes draw inspiration from bird wings, and solar energy mimics photosynthesis.

If technology and nature were perfectly integrated, how would our cities and lives transform? Would we see vertical forest buildings or AI guardians for endangered species?

Young participants are encouraged to unleash their boundless observations and creativity around this theme—whether depicting scenes of technology restoring nature or envisioning a wondrous future where humans and all living things are intelligently interconnected.

1. 參賽資格 Eligibility

參賽者年齡需在4-22歲之間，包括少年兒童與學生。每位參賽者最多可提交3幅作品。

Participants must be between 4 and 22 years old, including children and students. Each participant may submit up to 3 artworks.

2. 作品媒介 Medium of Artwork

參賽作品媒介不限，鼓勵多樣化藝術表達，符合“科技與自然”主題。參賽者可提交以下類型作品：

手繪藝術 Hand-drawn Art：包括水彩、水粉、水墨、油畫（需去框）、油畫棒、粉畫、拼貼等任意類型顏料或傳統(tǒng)手工技法。

攝影藝術 / Photographic Art：包括傳統(tǒng)攝影、數字攝影或實驗性攝影作品，需體現主題相關性。

數字藝術 Digital Art：包括使用電腦軟件創(chuàng)作的數字繪畫、插圖、動畫設計，以及人工智能（AI）輔助生成的藝術作品。

三維藝術 Three-dimensional Art：裝置、雕塑等三維作品需以高清晰度照片形式提交（照片需為作品的完整呈現，文件大小大于3MB）。

3. 作品尺寸 Artwork Dimensions

作品電子版文件大小需大于3MB。The digital file of the artwork must be larger than 3MB.

二維作品 Two-dimensional Artworks：作品最大邊長不得超過500mm，建議使用A4（210mm×297mm）或A3（297mm×420mm）尺寸，以確保展覽統(tǒng)一性和運輸便利。紙質作品需提交畫芯（無裝裱或木框），油畫需去除內外框，組委會將為入展作品提供統(tǒng)一裝裱。

Two-dimensional Artworks: The maximum size of the artwork must not exceed 500mm on the longest side. Recommended sizes are A4 (210mm×297mm) or A3 (297mm×420mm) to ensure uniformity in exhibition and ease of transportation. Paper-based works must be submitted as unmounted cores (without framing or wooden mounts), and oil paintings must be submitted without inner or outer frames. The organizing committee will provide uniform framing for exhibited artworks.

三維作品 Three-dimensional Artworks：三維作品（如雕塑、裝置等）不接受實物，僅接受以高清晰度照片形式提交。照片要求為JPEG格式，分辨率300dpi，文件大小在3MB至10MB之間，需完整呈現作品細節(jié)和整體效果，體現“科技與自然”主題。 參加決賽與參展，由組委會統(tǒng)一按照要求格式，高清微噴成二維形式呈現。

Three-dimensional Artworks: Three-dimensional works (e.g., sculptures, installations) will not be accepted in physical form and must be submitted as high-resolution photographs. Photos must be in JPEG format, with a resolution of 300dpi and a file size between 3MB and 10MB, fully showcasing the artwork’s details and overall effect while reflecting the “Technology and Nature” theme.

4. 大賽展覽與評選

Exhibition and Judging

報名截止至：2026年10月15日

Registration Deadline: October 15, 2026.

比賽分為初賽和復賽兩個階段，初賽結果將在10月30日公布，頒發(fā)獲獎證書。同時邀請優(yōu)秀作品獲獎者參加決賽及展覽。

The competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary round and the semifinal. The results of the preliminary round will be announced on October 20, and award certificates will be issued. Winners of outstanding works will also be invited to participate in the final round and exhibition.

參加決賽及展覽作品將于2026年11月1日至11月25日在美國科斯門斯河學院美術館展出。評審委員會現場評選金獎、銀獎、銅獎、優(yōu)秀獎及特別獎（最佳創(chuàng)意獎、最佳技術獎、最佳主題表達獎、可持續(xù)發(fā)展特別獎、跨文化交流特別獎），綜合考慮藝術價值和主題表達。

Selected artworks will be exhibited at Cosumnes River College Art Gallery, USA, from November 1 to November 25, 2026. The judging panel will conduct on-site evaluations to award Gold, Silver, Bronze, Excellence Awards, and Special Awards (Best Creativity, Best Technique, Best Theme Expression, Sustainability, and Cross-Cultural Exchange), considering artistic value and theme expression.

展覽開幕：

2026年11月1日在科斯門斯河學院美術館舉行展覽開幕，鼓勵參加決賽選手或代表參加（費用自理）。

The exhibition opening and awards ceremony will be held on November 1, 2026, at Cosumnes River College Art Gallery. Finalists or their representatives are encouraged to attend (self-funded).

決賽獲獎者公布：

決賽獲獎名單將于2026年11月5日通過官網（www.shengxinyuart.com）、社交媒體、及合作媒體公布。

Final award winners will be announced on November 5, 2026, via the competition website (www.shengxinyuart.com) (www.shengxinyuart.com), social media (Los Rios Community College District and Cosumnes River College accounts), and partner media.

5. 評選與證書Judging and Certificates

初賽為網上評選，獲獎作品將獲得一、二、三等獎證書（優(yōu)勝者證書）。

入圍決賽并參加展覽的作品，將現場評出各類獎項。決賽作品將獲得由組委會主席、美國科斯門斯河學院院長、科斯門斯河學院美術館館長簽名的獲獎證書。

The preliminary round will be judged online, and selected artworks will receive a certificate of merit. Artworks that advance to the final round and are exhibited will be judged on-site for various awards. Finalists will receive a certificate signed by the competition chair, the Chancellor of Los Rios Community College District, and the Cosumnes River College Art Gallery.

6. 作品退回 Return of Artworks

中國區(qū)參展作品不退回（特殊情況可申請退回，需自行承擔退回費用）。

Artworks from the China region will not be returned (in special cases, participants may apply for return but must bear the return costs).

7. 作品類別 Categories of Artworks

參賽作品需明確標注創(chuàng)作方式，分為以下三類：

a.手繪:純手工創(chuàng)作的作品，包括繪畫、素描等。

b.數字藝術: 使用電腦軟件創(chuàng)作的作品，如數字繪畫、設計等。

c.AI藝術: 利用人工智能技術輔助或生成的作品。

每類作品將分別評選，確保公平競爭。

Participants must specify the creation method of their artworks, which will be categorized into three groups:

Hand-drawn: Artworks created entirely by hand, such as paintings and sketches. Digital Art: Artworks created using computer software, such as digital paintings and designs.

AI Art: Artworks created with the assistance or generation of artificial intelligence technology.

Each category will be judged separately to ensure fair competition.

1. 創(chuàng)意性 Creativity (35%)

評估作品在表達“科技與自然”主題時的獨特性和創(chuàng)新性。作品是否展現新穎的視角或概念，是否通過獨特的藝術語言暢想科技與自然和諧共存的未來。鼓勵參賽者突破傳統(tǒng)思維，提出富有啟發(fā)性的創(chuàng)意，特別是在氣候危機、人工智能、文化融合或可持續(xù)發(fā)展等議題上的創(chuàng)新表達。

Evaluates the originality and innovation of the artwork in expressing the “Technology and Nature” theme. Judges will assess whether the work presents a unique perspective or concept, imagining a harmonious future for technology and nature. Participants are encouraged to break from conventional thinking and offer inspiring ideas, particularly on issues like climate crises, artificial intelligence, cultural integration, or sustainability.

2.主題契合度 Theme Relevance (30%)

評估作品是否緊扣“科技與自然”主題，是否有效傳達與環(huán)境保護、綠色技術、人工智能倫理或文化包容相關的思考。作品應展現青少年對科技如何影響自然生態(tài)或推動可持續(xù)未來的見解，體現對全球性議題的深刻理解和藝術化表達。

Assesses how closely the artwork aligns with the “Technology and Nature” theme and whether it effectively conveys reflections on environmental protection, green technology, AI ethics, or cultural inclusivity. The work should demonstrate youth perspectives on how technology impacts ecosystems or promotes a sustainable future, reflecting a deep understanding and artistic expression of global issues.

3.藝術表現力Artistic Expression (20%)

評估作品在構圖、色彩、形式和整體視覺效果上的感染力。作品是否通過藝術手法傳遞情感、引發(fā)共鳴，或展現科技與自然交融的美感。評委將關注作品如何通過視覺語言吸引觀眾并傳遞主題信息。

Evaluates the artwork’s emotional and visual impact through composition, color, form, and overall aesthetics. Judges will consider whether the work conveys emotion, evokes resonance, or captures the beauty of technology and nature’s integration, focusing on how the visual language engages viewers and communicates the theme.

4.技術水平 Technical Skill (15%)

根據參賽者的年齡組（9-12歲、13-15歲、16-18歲、19-22歲），評估其在所選媒介（手繪、攝影、數字藝術或AI藝術）上的技法掌握程度。評委將關注材料運用、工藝精度以及技術表現的成熟度，同時考慮年齡段的合理期望，確保公平性。

Assesses the participant’s mastery of techniques in their chosen medium (hand-drawn, photographic, digital art, or AI art) based on their age group (9-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-22 years old). Judges will evaluate material use, craftsmanship, and technical maturity while considering age-appropriate expectations to ensure fairness.

5. 跨文化與可持續(xù)性表達 Cross-Cultural and Sustainability Expression (Bonus Consideration)

為鼓勵與大賽宗旨契合的創(chuàng)作，評委將特別關注作品是否體現跨文化交流或可持續(xù)發(fā)展的理念。作品若能通過藝術表達全球公民意識、文化多樣性或生態(tài)保護的創(chuàng)新解決方案，將有機會獲得額外加分，特別是在“可持續(xù)發(fā)展特別獎”和“跨文化交流特別獎”的評選中。

To align with the competition’s mission, judges will give special consideration to artworks that embody cross-cultural exchange or sustainability. Works that creatively express global citizenship, cultural diversity, or innovative solutions for ecological protection may receive bonus points, particularly for the “Special Award for Sustainability” and “Special Award for Cross-Cultural Exchange.”

Preliminary Round Certificate

大賽在中國區(qū)為初賽，只有通過初賽評選獲獎的選手，才有資格獲邀參加在美國科斯門斯河學院美術館（Cosumnes River College Art Gallery）舉辦的現場展覽與決賽。中國區(qū)獲獎選手將獲得由組委會頒發(fā)的一、二、三等獎與優(yōu)秀獎證書及獎牌，以表彰其作品在初賽中的優(yōu)秀表現。

The competition in China serves as a preliminary round. Only participants who win awards in the preliminary judging are eligible to be invited to the final exhibition and competition held at Cosumnes River College Art Gallery, USA. Winners from the China region will receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize, and Excellence Award certificates and medals issued by the organizing committee to recognize the outstanding performance of their artworks in the preliminary round.

Participants who win awards in the preliminary round are eligible to voluntarily participate in the final competition and exhibit their work at Cosumnes River College Art Gallery, USA, with winners receiving Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Excellence Awards based on age groups (4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-18, and 18-22 years old), as well as Best Creativity Award, Best Technique Award, and Best Theme Expression Award.

所有參加決賽并獲獎的作品將獲得獲獎證書、精美獎杯、組委會出具的推薦信，以表彰其藝術成就和對國際藝術交流的貢獻。

All artworks exhibited in the final round will receive a Participation Certificate to honor their artistic achievement and contribution to global art exchange.

Built in 2014, the Cosumnes River College Art Gallery is a 2,500-square-foot modern exhibition space, the largest within the Los Rios Community College District, designed to promote connectivity between arts and humanities with sustainable features like LED lighting and a “cool roof.” Through student and faculty exhibitions, it supports visual arts education and offers gallery operations courses to build professional skills. It provides the final exhibition venue and professional judging support for CIYA, facilitating the global showcase of youth art.

2025年11月1日至25日，首屆美國加利福尼亞國際青少年藝術大賽暨展覽活動，在加州科斯尼斯河學院美術館火熱舉辦！

本屆賽事主題聚焦“青少年眼中科技與自然、未來文明與挑戰(zhàn)”，收到來自19個國家，1183名小藝術家們踴躍投稿，用畫筆描繪心中的未來科技與自然世界。

11月6日下午4點，展覽開幕酒會隆重舉行！科斯尼斯河學院院長愛德華·布什博士、藝術系主任羅賓·約翰遜，以及來自薩克拉門托的學生、家長和嘉賓們齊聚一堂，共同見證了這一精彩時刻。
