前言

FOREWORD

藝術(shù)的生命力，永遠扎根于自然與生活的土壤。寫生，作為繪畫藝術(shù)直面現(xiàn)實的創(chuàng)作方式，是藝術(shù)家與天地萬物的對話，亦是捕捉世間鮮活意趣的永恒途徑。寫生的本質(zhì)——以眼觀物，以心悟境，以筆留真，這便是寫生創(chuàng)作的初心，亦是所有寫生者奔赴自然的目的。

The vitality of art is forever rooted in the soil of nature and life. Sketching from life, as a creative method in painting that directly confronts reality, is the artist's dialogue with heaven, earth, and all things, and an eternal path to capturing the world's vivid charm. The essence of sketching—observing with the eye, comprehending with the heart, and preserving truth with the brush—is the original intent behind creating art from life and the very purpose that draws all who sketch to venture into nature.

于藝術(shù)家而言，寫生從來不是簡單的技法練習，而是人生與藝術(shù)之路的重要修行。它讓創(chuàng)作者走出畫室的方寸天地，以腳步丈量大地，以目光捕捉鄉(xiāng)野的朝暮光影、草木榮枯。每一次面對自然的落筆，都是對觀察能力、表達能力的錘煉，更是對內(nèi)心的沉淀與豐盈。在與鄉(xiāng)野的朝夕相處中，方曉龍褪去城市的浮躁，將對自然的感知、對生活的理解凝于筆尖，水彩的暈染與筆觸的鋪陳，皆成為他內(nèi)心世界的外化。寫生讓他的藝術(shù)語言愈發(fā)鮮活，也讓他的創(chuàng)作始終保有對生活的赤誠，這份從自然中汲取的力量，成為其藝術(shù)生涯不斷前行的底色。

For an artist, sketching has never been merely a technical exercise; it is a vital practice on the journey of both life and art. It leads the creator out of the confined studio space, measuring the earth with their steps and capturing with their gaze the shifting light of dawn and dusk in the countryside, the flourishing and withering of plants. Each stroke made in the presence of nature hones one's powers of observation and expression, while also serving to settle and enrich the inner self. Through day and night amidst the rural landscape, Fang Xiaolong sheds the restlessness of the city, condensing his perception of nature and understanding of life onto the tip of his brush. The washes of watercolor and the layering of his strokes become an externalization of his inner world. Sketching keeps his artistic language ever fresh and ensures his creations retain a sincere devotion to life. This strength drawn from nature forms the very foundation upon which his artistic career continually advances.

在圖像技術(shù)高度發(fā)達的當下，寫生的方式與藝術(shù)表達更有著獨特的時代意義。當鏡頭可以輕易定格瞬間，寫生所賦予的現(xiàn)場感與情感性，便成為無可替代的藝術(shù)價值。西方印象派以寫生捕捉光影的瞬息萬變，中國寫生傳統(tǒng)則講求“寫出生意”，方曉龍融合中西寫生的精髓，以水彩的通透靈動描繪鄉(xiāng)野和風，在現(xiàn)場的即興創(chuàng)作中，讓色彩與水的交融成為情感的自然流露。他的寫生，不是對鄉(xiāng)野風景的機械復(fù)刻，而是以藝術(shù)的視角提煉鄉(xiāng)野之美，讓那些被忽略的田園詩意、鄉(xiāng)土溫情，在水彩畫面中被重新發(fā)現(xiàn)。

In an era of highly developed imaging technology, the method and artistic expression of sketching carry unique contemporary significance. While lenses can easily freeze a moment in time, the sense of presence and emotional depth bestowed by sketching become irreplaceable artistic values. The Western Impressionists used plein air painting to capture the fleeting changes of light and shadow, while the Chinese tradition of sketching emphasizes "capturing the vital essence." Fang Xiaolong blends the essence of both Eastern and Western approaches to sketching, employing the translucency and liveliness of watercolor to depict the gentle breezes of the countryside. In his on-site improvisations, the interplay of color and water becomes a natural outpouring of emotion. His sketches are not mechanical reproductions of rural scenery but artistic distillations of its beauty, rediscovering through the watercolor medium the pastoral poetry and local warmth often overlooked.

在快節(jié)奏的當代生活中，這樣的寫生創(chuàng)作，更像是一種慢下來的藝術(shù)表達。它讓我們重新審視自然與生活的聯(lián)結(jié)，在鄉(xiāng)野的和風里，感受自然的本真與生命的鮮活。方曉龍的這些水彩寫生作品，是鄉(xiāng)野風景的寫照，是藝術(shù)靈感的凝結(jié)，更是一份對自然的敬畏與熱愛。愿觀者能從這些畫面中，邂逅鄉(xiāng)野的溫柔，感受寫生藝術(shù)的獨特魅力，在筆墨光影間，尋得一份內(nèi)心的安寧。

In the fast-paced rhythm of contemporary life, such creative sketching resembles a form of slowed-down artistic expression. It invites us to re-examine the connection between nature and life, to feel the authenticity of nature and the vibrancy of life within the gentle country breezes. These watercolor sketches by Fang Xiaolong are portrayals of rural landscapes, crystallizations of artistic inspiration, and above all, a testament of reverence and love for nature. May viewers encounter the tenderness of the countryside within these frames, sense the unique allure of sketching from life, and find a moment of inner peace amidst the interplay of ink, brush, light, and shadow.
