Market research indicates that 70% of urban consumers are willing to pay a premium of more than 30% for rural accommodation with unique features, content, and social scenarios. The national rural revitalization strategy provides fundamental support for shared courtyards. The "Guiding Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Rural Homestays" clearly encourages "innovative business models" and proposes "promoting the healthy development of new business forms such as shared farmhouses and shared homestays".
