最可愛的只有孩子。
和他說話不必思索，
態(tài)度不必矜持。
抬起頭來說笑，
低下頭去弄水。
任你深思也好，
微謳也好；
驢背山，山門下，
偶一回頭望時，
總是活潑潑地，
笑嘻嘻地。

保有一份單純，懷抱最初的赤誠——在這宇宙里，孩子們的秉性是一等一的寶貴與難得。

搖曳的時光里，孩子們一年年長大。作為師長，我們小心地堅守呵護，惟愿他們在離開這片校園時，內(nèi)心依然自由從容，眼眸依舊清澈明亮。

5月24日，這一天終于到來——12年級學(xué)生畢業(yè)禮，我們送別可愛的2024屆孩子們。他們在啟明星度過了長久的光陰，從此，就要踏上未知的道路，奔赴屬于自己的未來.....

校長、老師們走在前面，帶領(lǐng)2024屆學(xué)生從高中樓出發(fā)，穿過校園，前往典禮現(xiàn)場，沿路滿是前來祝福的全校師生。

典禮開始?，F(xiàn)場坐滿了畢業(yè)生的家人、朋友、前來觀禮的師生、甚至啟明星的往屆畢業(yè)生。啟明星創(chuàng)始人蔡金勇夫婦也遠道從國外趕回。

“我可以非常自信地說，在過去的一個月里，很少有人比我跟他們（2024屆畢業(yè)生）在一起的時間更長。這是因為，我的另一個身份DP協(xié)調(diào)員，讓我有機會見證他們剛剛完成的IB考試……我想告訴大家，他們應(yīng)對挑戰(zhàn)的方式非常令我觸動，我深深地為他們而驕傲。他們每天都按照要求早早到校，做好準備，保持良好的心態(tài)參加考試。在嚴謹認真對待考試的同時，他們也保持著積極的心態(tài)，我能看到他們的這份樂觀。

請記得我們啟明星社區(qū)的所有人都非常期待看到你們的啟航，期待見證你們將憑借天賦、智慧、責任和勇氣取得的無限成就。今天下午，請允許我代表整個中學(xué)團隊，第一個向 2024 屆學(xué)生表示祝賀！”

12年級學(xué)生賀之陽代表所有2024屆學(xué)生發(fā)言。他感謝了老師、家長和學(xué)校的所有工作人員，也發(fā)表了一段自信滿滿又深情的演講：

“……盡管升入大學(xué)讓我興奮，但我不知道以后是否還能有這樣一群寶貴的朋友每天早上一起走進教室......我們每個人都各有千秋。這里有未來的建筑師、有前途的藝術(shù)家、才華橫溢的經(jīng)濟學(xué)家、博學(xué)的生物學(xué)家、睿智的數(shù)學(xué)家，還有卓越的物理學(xué)家。老實說，你說得出的我們都有。這群優(yōu)秀的年輕人一起，每天相互幫助和激勵，就像水分子之間相互吸引形成內(nèi)聚力一樣。

我曾經(jīng)讀到過一句話："解決社會弊端的關(guān)鍵掌握在堅信人類崇高本性的年輕人手中；他們渴望更深入地了解存在的真正目的"。哇，這聽起來好像給了我們很大壓力，因為當世界認識到了青年的力量和潛力時，也給了我們艱巨的任務(wù)。但不要慌，從高中生活的篇章中，我意識到我們的人生有無數(shù)的機遇和可能性。楊老師在最后一節(jié)中文課上告訴我們，"人生難免會遇到挑戰(zhàn)"。既然人生是一場漫長的旅行，你就不必時刻想著要把腳踩在油門上。仔細觀察你手中的地圖，你會找到前行的方向。”

接下來，兩段視頻把大家的思緒拉入回憶——這是畢業(yè)生和老師們對往日的懷念，還有家長和啟明星員工對孩子們的深深祝福。

作為在校學(xué)生代表，11年級學(xué)生胡敬恩向就要離校的學(xué)長們說出發(fā)自心底的話——有令人捧腹的玩笑和記憶，也有觸碰大家內(nèi)心最柔軟的部分：

“說實話，一想到你們就要畢業(yè)、永遠離開啟明星，我們就感覺有點奇怪。因為你們也是在啟明星長大的，總會出現(xiàn)在校園里，而我也總是習慣于把你們作為更高的年級。

有你們在身邊，我們會感到安心，就像總有可以依靠的肩膀。無論我們要做些什么，你們都已經(jīng)做過了，無論需要做什么，你們總會挺身而出……

你們對我們的影響反映了你們對啟明星的影響。作為啟明星的第二屆畢業(yè)生，你們將我們的學(xué)校社區(qū)塑造成今天的樣子，你們永遠不會被忘記......”

慶典的日子怎能沒有演出？北皋校區(qū)小學(xué)部4年級的孩子們、9年級學(xué)生組成的Gabriellaz樂隊、11年級學(xué)生孫源，還有2024屆學(xué)生莊子墨都帶來精彩的演出：

畢業(yè)生依次上前領(lǐng)取畢業(yè)證書，啟明星總校長Daniel Williams也向孩子們寄語：

“......對于你們這些因為畢業(yè)于一所與眾不同的學(xué)校而獲得優(yōu)勢的學(xué)生來說，哲學(xué)家彼得·辛格的這句話就顯得格外有意義：‘如果我們有能力阻止壞事的發(fā)生，而又無需犧牲具有同等道德重要性的東西，那么道義上我們就應(yīng)該這樣做’。你們每個人都有能力，有學(xué)識，并肩負著實現(xiàn)變革的責任。你們的使命不止于個人的成功，更是要幫助那些無法享有同樣機會和特權(quán)的人進步......

恭喜你們，畢業(yè)生們。未來不僅是你們要繼承的，也是你們要創(chuàng)造的。今天，我站在這里不是向你們道別，而是無比自豪地見證你們最偉大旅途的開始!”

再見！2024屆畢業(yè)生！借用賀之陽畢業(yè)生致辭的最后一句話：你們的故事即將在此結(jié)束，但還有一個光明且充滿挑戰(zhàn)的未來在等著你們。

目睹了你們在啟明星長久年月的成長經(jīng)歷，我們堅信：你們聚是一團火，散是滿天星！而你們也必將欣逢屬于自己的道路，并在奔赴的過程中有所收獲！

“Beloved”

Beyond the cosmos vast and wide,

Beloved most, are children by our side.

No need for formality, nor calculation,

With them, we share a pure relation.

We can chat and laugh, gazing up high,

Or bend down low, splashing water to the sky.

Be it a deep thought or a soft song,

On a donkey's back, or a mountain foot.

When we glance back, and take a peek,

Their smiles and liveliness, they always keep.

To have sincerity, to be passionate. There is nothing more precious in the universe than the children.

We watch our children(students) grow, year by year. We take care of them and hope that when they leave this school, they will have freedom in their hearts and clarity in their eyes.

On May 24th, during the 12th Grade Graduation Ceremony, we bid farewell to the lovely children of the Class of 2024 — children who have spent a their time at Daystar, and who will soon embark on the path of exploring more unknowns, in search of their own path!

Graduation Parade! Guided by the principals and teachers, our graduates walk through campus to receive the blessings of the whole school, and to say goodbye to everyone.

The ceremony began with blessings of graduates' families, friends and teachers.

Jonah Olken-Dann, Vice Principal of Daystar Academy Secondary School, and Dr. Cai Jinyong, Founder of Daystar Academy, delivered speeches for the graduates.

"I can say pretty confidently that over the past month, there are few people in the world who have spent MORE time with them than me. And that is because as part of my dual role as the DP coordinator, I have had the chance to oversee their recently completed IB Exams. I wanted to share something, because I was so impressed and proud of the way they handled this challenge. They showed up each and every day early, just as we asked. They were prepared, and they brought a great mentality to their exams. They were serious, very serious about their performance, but they also maintained a positive mindset that I could see when they smiled and were chatting or joking before or after an exam.

So, as we turn our attention back towards the future, know that all of us here within the Daystar Community are looking forward to seeing where you go from here and what you will accomplish with your limitless gifts of talent, intelligence, responsibility, and courage.And on behalf of the entire secondary school team, please allow me to be the first person this afternoon to say: Congratulations Class of 2024! Thank you!"

You will be asked to think about the differences between what you hear and what you see and what you have, both today and in the future, and to be true to yourself and to be realistic. You are bound to face challenges in the West, but don't be afraid to use what you have learned and seen at Daystar to overcome them and become builders of peace and harmony in the world..."

Class of 2024 graduate, Zimo Zhuang was honored with the Daystar Core Values Award.

Badi He spoke on behalf of the graduating Class of 2024. He thanked teachers, parents, and all school staff during his speech, and gave some advice to his fellow graduates:

"...As much as university excites me, I don’t know if I will ever have such a valuable group of friends again, entering homeroom together every morning...We are diverse. We have a future architect, promising artists, talented economists, a knowledgeable biologist, intelligent mathematicians, and an extraordinary physicist. Honestly, you name it—we have it. Together this talented group aids and motivates each other daily, like droplets of water joining together to form cohesive bonds.

A quote that I once read states: “The key to resolving social ills rests in the hands of a youthful generation convinced of the nobility of human beings; eagerly seeking a deeper understanding of the true purpose of existence.” Wow! That sounds like a lot of pressure and a tough mission to complete, because the world recognizes the power and potential of youth. But don’t panic, from these chapters of high school life I learned that our lives have so many opportunities.Mrs. Sandy told us in our last Chinese class “in life we will inevitably face challenges.” Since life is such a long road trip, you don’t always need to think about putting your foot on the pedal. Survey closely the map held in your hand, and you will find purposeful navigation ahead of you.

2 videos pulled everyone's mind into memories—it was a nostalgic reminiscence of the past from graduates and teachers, as well as a deep blessing from parents and Daystar staff.

As a representative of current students, 11th grade student Kelly Hu spoke from her heart to the seniors who are about to leave school:

"To be honest, it feels a bit strange that you guys are graduating–actually leaving Daystar forever. Growing up at Daystar, you were always present, and I was always used to having you as the upper grade.

Your presence was comforting to us, and it was almost like a shoulder to lean on. Whatever we were about to go through, you would have already gone through it; and whenever something needed to be done, you would always step up.

Your impact on me is reflective of your impact on Daystar. As the second ever graduating class of Daystar, you shaped our school community into what it is today and you will never be forgotten."

The graduates stepped forward to receive their diplomas in turn, and Daystar Head of Schools Daniel Williams gave them a message as well:

"...Reflecting on your privileged position as graduates of such a distinguished academy, philosopher Peter Singer's words ring especially true: 'If it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening, without thereby sacrificing anything of comparable moral importance, we ought, morally, to do it.' Each of you has the power, the education, and the duty to effect change. You are called not just to succeed for yourselves, but to elevate those who lack the opportunities and privileges you’ve had.

Congratulations, graduates.The future is not only something you will inherit but something you will create. I am immensely proud to stand here today, not to bid you farewell, but to witness the beginning of your greatest adventures yet.
