據(jù)新華社消息，美國總統(tǒng)特朗普4月2日宣布，帕姆·邦迪將不再擔(dān)任司法部長一職。邦迪成為特朗普第二個總統(tǒng)任期內(nèi)第二名被解職的內(nèi)閣成員。

特朗普當(dāng)天在社交媒體發(fā)帖說，邦迪將轉(zhuǎn)任私營部門工作，具體日期將在近期公布，司法部副部長托德·布蘭奇將代理司法部長一職。

美國媒體報道，特朗普對邦迪的不滿已持續(xù)數(shù)月，包括認(rèn)為她對“愛潑斯坦文件”處置不力、對打擊特朗普的政治對手不夠強(qiáng)硬。3月17日，國會眾議院監(jiān)督與政府改革委員會向邦迪發(fā)出傳票，要求她就愛潑斯坦案接受國會閉門質(zhì)詢。根據(jù)傳票要求，邦迪定于4月14日接受該委員會質(zhì)詢。此前，邦迪已出席過相關(guān)聽證會，但未能消除國會兩黨多名議員對司法部的質(zhì)疑與批評。

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

帕內(nèi)爾在社交媒體發(fā)表聲明說，喬治“將立即卸任美國陸軍第41任參謀長一職”。他沒有說明喬治離職原因。

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed George's departure Thursday, writing on X, "General Randy A. George will be retiring from his position as the 41st Chief of Staff of the Army effective immediately. The Department of War is grateful for General George's decades of service to our nation."

蘭迪·喬治生于1964年，參加過海灣戰(zhàn)爭、伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭和阿富汗戰(zhàn)爭，2023年9月起擔(dān)任陸軍參謀長這一職務(wù)。陸軍參謀長是美國陸軍最高軍事主官，通常任期四年。這意味著他原本應(yīng)該任職到2027年。

The Army chief of staff typically serves a four-year term. George was nominated for the position by US former president Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023, meaning he would typically have held the position until 2027.

消息人士稱，赫格塞思希望由能夠貫徹總統(tǒng)特朗普及其國防政策愿景的人選接任該職位。一名國防部高級官員表示，此舉是“出于陸軍領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層調(diào)整的需要”。

據(jù)央視新聞，有消息人士透露，白宮正在“積極討論”解職聯(lián)邦調(diào)查局局長卡什·帕特爾、陸軍部長丹尼爾·德里斯科爾以及勞工部長洛麗·查韋斯－德雷默等多名高官，目前美國總統(tǒng)特朗普尚未做出最終決定。
